Hmm. Not really sure what you mean, but, you are using your tablet to
read and send emails which also means access to your contacts. for the
tablet to access your gmail account to do those things, it got to have
permission.
I've got two Fire tablets, no problem here. I use my gmail on those
Fire tablets daily. However, now that you have removed the Gmail
account, why not try enabling them again and see what happens?
By the way, which Fire tablet do you have? Not sure, look in settings.
