I have had some negative experiences with updates. For instance, I had an
update completely change the way the kindle app read my books, and not in a
good way. It worked just fine before the update. Thankfully now amazon has
fixed the problem with a new update, but while I was waiting for that to
happen, it was very frustrating and took away from my enjoyment of my kindle
books.
Now, I wait until the update has been out a little while and people have tried
it out and reported on the changes before I install the update, just incase
something unfortunate pops up with the update. It saves me lots of trouble and
aggrivation.
