Question 1. I previously connected my 5th generation fire tablet to a blue
tooth keyboard but now wish to delete it from the Fire. In IOS this is called
Forgetting the Device. So just how do I do this on the Fire tablet?
Question 2. The reason I wish to get rid of the first keyboard is that I wish
to pair a different Blue Tooth keyboard with the Fire. It is confusing because
each is called "keyboard," and I don't know which is which. So if I am
understanding the pairing procedure correctly, I first go to settings, then
wireless and bluetooth, then make sure blue tooth is turned on, then pair blue
tooth device. If I understand correctly, I should then hear the pairing code
after which I type it in on the keyboard and press enter. Now for the problem.
I hear the pairing code and type it in after which I press enter. The
batteries are fresh, and of course the keyboard is turned on. So just what is
supposed to happen next?
Question 3. Sometimes in the blue tooth menu, I see something which says
"scan". Are we then scanning for blue tooth devices, or just what is the
purpose for the scan choice?
Thanks.
