Thanks for that open letter.. I will share it with every author I know.

In my experience the author is often the last to know that a book is not enabled for text to speech. I have contacted several, all of who were surprised and annoyed. All have contacted their publishers to say they want the featured enabled. So far the publishers have not been forthcoming g.

So maybe a letter to the publishers would make more sense.. but then at least if we and the authors work together, we can make a change.

I promise you that all my novels are text to speech enabled!!

Warm regards,

"It’s not the world that was my oppressor, because what the world does to you if the world does it to you long enough and effectively enough, you begin to do to yourself. You become a collaborator...because you believe the same things they do." James Baldwin to Nicki Giovanni, 1973
