Tons of things the stream can't do. It can play music in your amazon music
library if you have one, which I do. And I have thousands of songs in that
library. There are tons of what they call skills, something like apps. Even
one to order pizza, give you traffic, recipes, play trivia and other games,
fitness related. You can use the echo to set timers, to order products from
amazon. As an example, amazon sells my dog's food, and I order it from
there. With the echo I can just say, Alexa, order taste of the wild pacific
stream dry dog food and presto, it's ordered and on its way to my dog! There
are hundreds of things you can do with it. I love mine, and personally,
though I do have an iPhone, I like the echo much better than Siri. Now you
can't send texts or make calls, but you sure can do a ton of other things.

OK, so can the Echo do anything the Stream cannot except play Kindle books?
I've got a Kindle keyboard for that, and it's fine. Also, since I don't use
ANY Apple devices, I'm wondering if an Echo would be ...extraneous for me.
