The NFL Mobile app is free. If you're not on Verizon then you'll need a subscription to NFL Audio Pass. You can check out the price at nfl.com/audiopass. I paid $20 for the season, but I think I got a bargain, and I'm not sure if the price has changed now that the season has started. You can also use NFL Audio Pass on your PC.
The Android app is a bit tough to use. You'll need to be persistent and patient. It's doable though, and I use it to listen to NFL games most every weekend, since the team I follow isn't local.
