Hello, list!
Yesterday I received an update for my Galaxy device, and I now have
Android 11. Voice assistant is now history, and I will not miss it.
However, it seems now that I have two versions of TalkBack on the device,
the old one I've always used from Google accessibility suite, and a new
TalkBack from Samsung, that can be updated from Galaxy store. The problem
is that I cannot choose which one I want to use; the Google one or the
Samsung one, from within the settings dialog.
I know I have two, because I'd set up the phone so that I could choose
between Voice Assistant (before the update), TalkBack or none. I had set
TalkBack on/off to Volume up + Power buttons. If I now press that key
combination, I get the other one with some different settings. So I
cannot turn the screen reader off with a key combo.
I don't have TalkBackk under Accessibility > Installed services any more, as I
had
before.
Can someone please shed som light on this situation?
Another problem after the update, is that my physical keyboard is now
set to englis keyboard layout, with semicolon placed where the
Norwegian ø should have been. I find the Logitech K810 keyboard in the
settings dialog, but there are no way to choose layout. Any idea on this
as well?
