Julie- It was just standing in the middle of one lane. No ear tuffs. Maybe
around 1.5' height....4' wing span. It was not the biggest owl I have seen.
Very white. Barred feathers. As in a barred rock chicken. Not a dense
barred pattern. More of a splash. I hope this makes sense.
Jan-It was between Food Lion and 295 near Hogans Drive. It headed east from
there.
