I am happy to report that for the first time ever, we have pine siskins at
our feeders. Last week they came in a crowd of 24, this week I saw 13 at
one time.
This is also the first week of Cornell's Feeder Watch program. I have
attached a few pictures for those who have not yet had siskins and
goldfinches together. The Downey is a bonus picture.
I promise to ask a Pine Siskin to visit your house for anyone who sends a
Purple Finch to mine. I'm still waiting for a Evening Grosbeak.
