Most of the adults and young have left now. However, a fair number of late-fledged juveniles will still be around for the next couple of weeks. Graduate student Dee Moyer is still catching a few banded and unbanded juveniles each day she goes out .The latest I have caught prothonotaries at Dutch Gap was Aug. 28th. Expect the odd one might be present until early September. This was a record year at Dutch Gap. Will be sending out a summary soon.
