This listserv has entertained PLENTY of "not-quite-bird" or "indirectly
about birds" discussions in the past. If you're not interested in a
particular discussion, exercise your DELETE button. It's that simple.
As lists go, this one is MUCH less subject to completely off-topic
discussions, so please do not claim there is an "overwhelming volume of
non-bird" discussion. That's patently inaccurate.
If you don't wish to read or participate in a particular thread, use your
delete button. As wind power and human impact on the environment IS very
much bird-related in the end, please remember that discussion - dissenting
or otherwise - is still acceptable and valuable.

I concur with Margaret and Gerry. I was on the verge of unsubscribing
because of the overwhelming volume of non-birding related discussions.
Perhaps another list can be established for general environmental issues.
