Suddenly she was there, with fire in her eyes.

 Perhaps it was the sound of dripping water or maybe her hawkeye noticed the
splash of the water on the birdbath or maybe she just wanted to cool her
heels on a hot day. She took but one sip of the water as she lingered at the
birdbath near the feeders where all avian activities had abruptly come to a
halt.

 In a flash, she was gone.
