There’s good news and bad news about the walk tomorrow at the 42nd Street
section of James River Park.
Good: it will be happening!
Bad: it starts at 7:00 am, and it is predicted to still be raining at that time.
So, be sure to bring your rain gear. We usually hope for bright sunny days for
these walks, so that the insects are revved up and the birds are active. There,
have, however, been a number of good, somewhat rainy days of birding this year
- a long spell of rain may have kept migrants here longer. We’ll just have to
see what’s going on tomorrow.
The last time I looked at the weather, they thought the rain should pass by
8:00 am or so.
See you out there tomorrow.
