On this coming Saturday May 22, the Northern
Virginia Teen Bird Club is planning a field trip
to Bombay Hook and the Delaware Bay, hoping to
see masses of shorebirds gorging themselves on
the eggs of horseshoe crabs. We plan to leave
Flint Hill School in Oakton (just off route 66 in
Fairfax County) at 6 AM via school minibus and
return by 6 PM. All high school students
interested in birds, both beginners and experts,
are welcome. Please e-mail or call Fred Atwood
to let him know of your interest.
