Yesterday about 3pm Jack Esworthy and his visiting friend found two
White-winged Doves at the kayak launch on Ramp Lane. They pointed them
out to our group. They had flushed the two birds into a cedar tree
immediately north of the "Zone 3" sign near a mud puddle where cars park
when launching canoes and kayaks. The birds were nestled inside the
tree and were somewhat difficult to see, but did not flush while we were
there.
