The planned foray to Pocahontas State Park got rained out on Sunday June 3
but, we were able to reschedule on Tuesday June 5. This enabled us to ride
around the park and forest roads in a 4WD truck with Irene Frentz, a state
park
staff member, and get to places we wouldn't have been able to cover
otherwise.
No big surprises, probably the best bird was a COOPER'S HAWK.
Many thanks to Irene for her assistance!
