The Sunday Great Falls walk had 10 participants for this the Audubon Christmas
Bird Count. The star of the count was a sleepy Barred owl that let us look her
over as long as we wished. We spotted 2 eagles with one of the pair sitting on
the nest. Over 40 Cedar waxings gave us some striking looks as they perched in
the sun near the overlook. The Sunday Great Falls bird walk occurs each Sunday
- rain or shine - meeting at 8:00am at the Visitors Center. The walk ends at
11:00. All are welcome!
