VA Birders,
The Selasphorus hummingbird was seen in Haji Warf's yard again today. It
was seen early this morning and about midday. Roger "Andy" Anderson, who saw
the bird at midday, also advised me that the parking lot by the Yorktown
track, which you can enter at N. 27th Road & N. Greenbrier Street--just half
a block west of Haji's house, now has some spaces which are designated for
2-hour parking only. These spaces are reserved for citizens who want to use
the track or the swimming pool, and can be used by hummingbird viewers as
well! So if anyone wants to look for Haji's hummer on his/her lunch hour,
hopefully you can find a legal space in the lot and not have to risk a
ticket.
