Afternoon,
I have just heard a Red-breasted Nuthatch in the front yard. I heard the
"tin horn" call several times, very well. I couldn't locate the bird as it
did not call anymore once I got my bins. This appears to be in line with
finch forecasts predicting a good winter for "snowbirds" this year.
