I believe Linda's correct. Unfamiliar sending addresses are often relegated
to the "spam" box, but that in itself would not keep the sender from seeing
their own post.
My own experience (including just a couple of days ago) is that my posts show
up within moments. It may indeed not be the listserv but filters in the
sender's email system, but that's just a wild surmise.
