I finally got a chance to check on the ANHINGA at the Mariner's Museum Park
in Newport News this evening. I was able to find the bird, and she was in
her usual general location, although it took a bit of searching as she was
higher up in the foliage than I have ever seen her before. Other highlights
of my brief walk on the Noland Trail include a few migrating warblers: four
AMERICAN REDSTARTS and a PRAIRIE WARBLER.
