I spent a brief 15 minutes at Lake Frederick after work today in hopes of
seeing the Long-tailed Duck but it was not in view or it has moved on. It's a
big lake with lots of the lake completely out of view from the boat ramp area
from which I was birding... so it's possible it's still around.
There was a Horned Grebe and 3 Buffleheads and 6 Ruddy Ducks and a group of
Canada Goose.
