There is a female LONG-TAILED DUCK at the duck pond in Walrond Park in
Roanoke County. It was first seen this past Saturday by Clark and Stephanie
Hill. It was still there today (Mon.) when I left at 3pm. If you go looking for
it
be sure to scan the pond edges if you don't see it in the water. It affords
great close-up looks. You can sit on a park bench and leisurely observe her as
she swims and dives.
