A quick walk through Huntley at 0730 this morning turned up the following:
2 Pied Bills
1 Am Bittern
25 Green-Winged Teals
2 Shovelers (M&F)
2 Hooded Mergansers (M&F)
2 Wood Ducks (M&F)
Killdeer Im.
8 Tree Swallows
1 busload of bright-eyed, shiny-faced new birders from the Flint Hill School
Plus all the usual Huntley residents (mallards, geese, herons, nuthatches,
chickadees, WPs, robins, starlings, RWs, grackles, sparrows, cardinals (but no
yellow-crowned kinglets, Harry))
