After the rain stopped and the sun came out, Neale & I birded Hickory Hill
Rd. for several hrs. in bright sun. It was quite birdy. Notable were: many,
many
White-throated Sparrows singing loudly and clearly massing preparatory to
leaving, a group of 9 Kingbirds together in two trees next to each other, a
female Cape May Warbler, Black-throated Blue and Hooded Warblers, many
Yellow-rumped ( also singing ), Yellow-breasted Chat, several Catbirds, Spotted
sandpiper,
Ovenbirds, Co. Yellowthroats, Wood Thrushes, several Yellow-throated Vireos,
and lot of White-eyed and Red-eyed Vireos.
