The weekly walk at Dyke Marsh, sponsored by the Friends of Dyke Marsh was very
well attended Sunday, with folks taking advantage of the beautiful weather.
Kind of quiet bird wise, with breeders dispersed and not their vocal selves and
bit early for migrants. Nevertheless we tallied a respectable list.
Highlights were the impressive great egret show on the flats off Hunting Creek,
building tern numbers, and a brief bit of song from a marsh wren. The complete
