I led the weekly walk at Dyke Marsh and Belle Haven picnic area & marina this
morning. The free, weekly walk is sponsored by the Friends of Dyke Marsh and
everyone is welcome. There were 10 of us this morning, and we began in overcast
skies. The weather cleared by the end of the walk, as the heat rose. One
high-light was a Least Bittern, seen at the end of the board walk, across the
channel. We may have flushed it as we walk up to the end of the board walk, as
it flew up and over the marsh and back down about 20 feet in. The full list of
