Less heat and humidity was welcome for the weekly birding trip at Dyke Marsh,
sponsored by Friends of Dyke Marsh and open to all. About a dozen birders
joined in. Highlights included a White-eyed Vireo along the Haul Road, several
Spotted Sandpipers, and Forster's Terns in both breeding and Fall plumage. The
