I led the Dyke Marsh walk this morning and over a dozen people showed up. We
found only a few migrants, but it was a beatiful morning and the birds were
active. Highlights were 3 bank swallows at the marina, spotted sandpiper in
the picnic area, magnolia warbler along Haul Rd., blackpoll warblers in the
picnic area and along Haul Rd., and marsh wren. We saw quite a few Baltimore
Orioles, and 3 of their nests. We also saw an Eastern Kingbird nest in the
picnic area and a gnatcatcher nest near where the trail bends left. Here is
