VA Birders,
I suspect Haji Warf's Rufous Hummingbird here in Arlington Co. must have
been the most counted bird on today's (Dec. 14) Washington, DC, Christmas
Bird Count (which includes Arlington Co.)!
When I took off a few minutes from my own feeder count and went over to
Haji's to count it, I found Bill Young and Shannon Dart there, and Rob Hilton
went earlier. None of them were counting in the sector which includes this
bird, but it's a great bird and should certainly be one of the highlights of
the DC count.
