On the way to scout for next week's CBC, we took Carr Lane and found some
late CHIPPING SPARROWS. We then checked Bowmans Pond along Belvoir Rd and
found a small assortment of ducks. Across the pond, on a fencepost, was a
young "Western" Red-tailed Hawk - very impressive bird. On the way home, we
stopped west of Rectortown and had great views of hunting Harriers.
