This year's Central Loudoun CBC will take place on Tues., Dec 29, and
welcomes both exp'd & beginning birders, including kids. You can bird the
entire day or just a part.
The count circle covers Loudoun County from the western edge of Ashburn to
just east of Round Hill and runs from Waterford in the north to a little
north of Aldie in the south. Some of it is suburban while other parts remain
rural. In addition to visiting several natural areas we are fortunate to get
permission to also visit several large estates. Some of the sectors require
a lot of walking while others are done by mostly driving. We also welcome
feeder watchers.
We plan to hold a Tally Rally at the end of the day at Morven Park in
Leesburg where the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy has its offices.
