Arrived at the crack of dawn, no snowy owls, but plenty of other
stuff.....Shirley Devan and I spent the morning there searching for the
owls. It was a blustery cold day and no owls. Word from the park ranger
was no sightings since Monday.
Favorite bird of the day was a female long-tailed duck in the canal near
Tom's Cove. A beauty of a bird.
Also had over a dozen different bald eagles on the day. 5 adults and 7
juvies in the Chincoteague area.

Shirley compiled the list of our sightings for the day.
