Have seen more birds recently including the following:
Pectoral sandpiper - here for about a week, didn't get it ID for several days
Coot since April 1 and still here
Osprey - off and on since March 24
Sparrows:
White Throats still around
Vespers have been here for more than 2 months
Savarnahs since April 2nd - possibly earlier
Swamp - Since April 2nd
Blue-wing Teal - 3 days first week of April
Gnatcatcher - April 8th
Waxwings in flocks off and on all winter, still see every few days
Plus the regulars: Geese, Mallards, Song Sparrows, House finchs, Doves,
Cardinals, Great Blue Heron, Kingfisher (not every day) Pair of Rock Pigeons
that we can't discourage from nesting on the building. Yellow-rump - still see
one or two most days, both Vultures, Crows, Jays, Mockingbirds and
Bluebirds.
Trying to attack Martins, but no luck so far.
