Folks-
As always, i was very impressed by all of the thoughtful responses from
people on this list to my question about binoculars. For the record, the
Eagle Optics Rangers get gold stars all around for their price range,
though a number of other recommendations were made as well. I was
particularly interested in lightweight roofs, so the EO Rangers appear to
be unbeatable for what i can spend. I put together a summary of the
responses if anyone would like it to help in their own search.
