Hello everyone,
Hope everyone is staying warm.I went to the Amherst lakes yesterday
2-17-07 to see what the cold weather brought in. I was not dissappointed.
At Mill Creek lake I had:
Common Merganser-1F
Common Goldeneye-1 F
Ruddies
Ring-necked Duck
Red-shouldered Hawk
Canvasback-1M
At Thrashers Lake I had:
American Wigeon- 1f
Pintail- 1 M
Black Duck
Mallards
At the small pond over in the field just as you turn to go to Stonehouse
I had: Redhead 2M 4F
Canvasback-1M
Today Peggy Lyons and I went to see if any of the waterfowl was still
around. The only ducks that were still around were the Redheads and
the Canvasback at the small pond. It was a very cold and windy day.
