Hi all,
Lets see what I can think of off the top of my head. Lots of flyovers where I
live, but I think I will focus on just what I see in the yard. On the rare
side of things I had a Say's Phoebe once and the other day I heard a Western
Screech owl for only the second time. Actually that was in the neighbors yard.

Anyway as to the normal. I have no feeders but I do have a fountain that
attracts a lot of birds especially in the summer. At the fountain I regularly
get Acorn woodpeckers, White breasted nuthatch, Anna's hummingbird, Dark Eyed
Junco, House Finch, Lesser Goldfinch, Black Capped Chickadee, and Dark Eyed
Junco.
I have Western Bluebirds nest usually a couple of times a year in my nest box.
I usually see a Pacific Wren feeding on my rocks out back in the winter, but
haven't seen it this year. Robins, Towhees and Starlings are common in the
yard and occasionally chipping sparrow. Flickers like to pound on my roof and
a downy is pretty common in the oak behind the house. I have a pair of bullocks
orioles each summer in the trees above the house. Sometimes I get Townsends
warblers and bushtits coming through feeding, and in spring migration just
about anything goes in the trees up above the house. I am sure I am forgetting
some and there are a lot more common ones around the neighborhood like Eurasian
Collard Doves, and Cooper's hawks. That is about all I can think of at the
moment.
P.S. Two days ago at the Ponds I had my first Purple finch of the year.
Keith
