Highlights from CUF meeting 2-20-07 Police report that overall crime is down with robberies down 29%. Officer Katrina Neal told of a "right of entry " letter which allows police to come on private property to investigate suspicious activity. Robert Koehler reported on the Uptown transportation study. Some parts such as signage and signal updates have been implemented. New bus hubs have been recommended. Other decisions such as I_71 changes are still in process and probably won't be in place until 2017 so don't hold your breath. They are waiting for the city to decide to appeal the eminent domain decision on Hardees Good news- A company has expressed serious interest in developing Block 1-by former Primetime/McDonalds Potential for a Gold's Gym and hotel. Another group has expressed an interest in St. George. Block Captain News- The Golden Dustpan awarded to Dorothy Wilson; Block Captains/CUF won award.
