Greetings folks
I wonder if anyone here has created knitting patterns in EUB using Duxbury.
According to section 52 of the Braillists' Manual, "Print abbreviations are
retained in the braille, even if they conflict with the UEB rules for grade 2
contractions ..."
For example, k (without a grade 1 indicator) stands for knit and the ST
contraction stands for stitch.
I realise that one could use the q~ followed by k (or p or / or /s) to
represent knit, purl, stitch or stitches.
Is there a quicker method for creating a knitting pattern in Duxbury - for
example a Knitting Code similar to the Grade One code?
(I'd be surprised if there is, but figured it is worth asking you Experts!)
Look forward to your thoughts
Margaret
