In my humble opinion, that is correct. It should not be used because the "ed"
in each word spans the syllables. Pronunciations may vary, but I do not think
that is the case here. J

Hi all, Please can someone confirm something for me? Am I right in thinking the
“ed” sign should not be used in the words “daredevil” and “nosedive”. Every
