[uae] missing hardfile docs

I noticed that in the latest e-uae (0.8.27) we lost some of the docs
that came with the old uae. I had to go back to find some info about
hard files. The old docs have an example, and the mountlist entry for
wb 1.2.
But I still can't get it to work. The hardfile does show up in the gui
hardisks page, and it seems to mount ok, but when I try to format it,
I get...
format failed -
cannot find handler
Is the device still uaehf.device ?
BTW, it works fine under 3.0, where no mountlist entry is required.
