why is the state code broken? Does it disturb other parts, or does it just

Actually, I don't remember. ;-)

It was broken way back when I first started this project, and I haven't tested it recently. The save state code compiles, but AFAICR it doesn't create useable snapshots for some reason. It hasn't been a high priority for me to get this working, so I have never bothered to find out what the problem was.

It'll probably be straightforward to fix - so I really should have a look at this.

I think it could be a good idea to ask for people if this feature is really wanted or less than others.
For me, savestate and harddisk by file support are the most wanted, and I wait them (how it could be annoying to do the same again and again, as before on a true Amiga I know, when it could be more user-friendly to just start at a specific point in a game :) ).
Another feature is floppy read-only/read-write changing state in gui (perhaps it could be done by config file) like WinUAE, and the gui part for creating fake floppy.

Cheers,
Rich
