[uae] Joystick button remapping

Hello everyone,
I just got a shiny new joypad with three sticks (one digital, two
analog) and a truckload of buttons.
Unfortunately, button number one is located inconveniently. I'd
rather have another button acting as fire button in UAE.
It would also be nice to be able to use an alternate stick.
Did anyone manage to succeed at some of this with E-UAE? Is it a big
thing for me to hack that into the source for my private amusement?
