Hi everyone, hmm, I noticed that installing WB3.1 onto a mounted unix directory failed when using a language different from English.
Indeed, the LOCALE: disk does contain some files with non-ASCII characters ("like the "ç" in "Français" for the French catalog). The install process always fails at some point and I figured out a bad encoding was used. I have a UTF-8 ext4 partition, and nautilus shows a file with some trashed characters instead of "ç", with a "Bad encoding" error message.
Did anyone else notice this issue ? I kind of worked around it by installing the WB in English !
(setup : Ubuntu i386) Cheers, Mahen
