Re: my previous post about my emulated Amiga crashing when I try to format an ADF, I've been running some tests with the log console open while E-UAE is running and I think I've found some new evidence.

I'm noticing this entry appear in my E-UAE log at boot time:
"SERIAL: period=372, baud=9600, hsyncs=16 PC=<various values>"

When I open the Format utility this entry appears in the log:
"SERIAL: period=368, baud=9600, hsyncs=16 PC=<various values>"

Then this entry appears in the log when I'm formatting the disk image, as the Amiga guru occurs:
"SERIAL: period=372, baud=9600, hsyncs=16 PC=f8361c"

Options for serial on demand, parallel on demand and bsdsocket emulation are all set to false in my configuration, so I don't understand what is happening, or why these SERIAL entries are appearing.

Daniel Pimley
