I understand that when the student's name is entered, the correct settings are loaded relative to the student. However, I would like to see a global set of preferences so you can press Control+U to change various aspects of the program prior to logging in a student. In particular, the first time you create a new student prior to changing preferences, we get language appropriate to a child. I do not really want to demonstrate this to an adult, enter her name, and then for the program to say "I've never played with you before and I am really glad you are going to play with me" or words to that effect. Also, if you do not enter a student name, and you press Escape three times to quit, you are given the child's closing greeting.
