Brian,

Sorry about your Laptop. Here's my response to your points.
1. The CD contents are all updated for TypeAbility 3.0.21.
2. We'll have to wait for the the TypeAbility maintenance release for any further accomodation for JAWS 10. 3. Thanks for the kudos on the SibeliusSpeaking Installation. The installer was developed by Albert Milani of Dancing Dots, after much trial and error and back and forth between he and I. Shortly thereafter, YesAccessible took over creating our installaters. Now, we too, are going through the trial and error process. As you pointed out, we still need to perfect the interface so that JAWS talks without changing the JAWS screen echo to All. And I'm not sure if we can't find a better way to install into a network. Right now, for networks, the administrator has to do the following for each computer in the network: a. Grant administrative priveleges each user who is going to log on and use TypeAbility.
b. Install TypeAbility.
c. Withdraw priveleges.
Cheers,

David

Subject: [typeabilitybeta] Catching up

Hi David

I am so glad that the demonstration of TypeAbility was good although you
had to leave in hurried circumstances.

Unfortunately, the laptop computer I regularly use failed to boot into
Winbdows yesterday and so since then I have again had no T&T Email so I
am a little behind with messages, so I just wanted to catch up on a few
points.
1. David, is the T&T CD image of TypeAbility now on the FTP site
containing the latest TypeAbility build and documents?
Scott if so the revised audio CD will be ready over the weekend and I
have advised our admin team we are shipping on Monday as I believe we
already have orders.
2. David, if you can please just wait a couple of days for the feedback
in respect of jaws V10 until I get my regular computer back with all the
software installed that would be helpful.
3. David, on a completely unrelated note, I just wanted to say that
yesterday I installed Sibelius Speaking and Goodfeel onto a computer for
a young person. Although I had not installed Sibelius for some time, I
just wanted to say that the setup of Sibelius Speaking is just such a
wonderful process. You have done a fantastic job on scripting that
setup interface and as a result it was just so easy for me to do. Thank
you on behalf of visually impaired people for that.
This young lad's mother is going to purchase Sonar for him next with
Cake Talking, so I guess I'll be installing that soon.

Regards:

Brian
