Hi All

I'm Jo Gallagher, one of the charge midwives with the West of Scotland
Neonatal Transport Service.

I just wanted to put out a question regarding which 'anti-vibration'
mattresses are being used by the other neonatal transport teams.

We currently use the Squishon mattress from Philips (formerly Childrens
Medical Ventures) but have been having ongoing problems with burst
mattress seams. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with these
mattresses?

Philips are currently investigating this but we are now seeking
alternatives.

We have trialled the Sundance positioner from Talarmade but found it a
bit too firm for preventing vibration in transport.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Jo Gallagher
