We have experienced the same issues, though I don't think it has been escalated 
to Health Facilities Scotland, but certainly Drager have been involved. Our new 
Ambulance has had its electrical system investigated numerous times to rule out 
it being the cause - all our road kits have had their batteries replaced 
quicker than we expected, and the newest kit, (less than a year old) is on its 
3rd or 4th battery already - replaced after the incubator was not lasting 
longer than 20 mins away from an electrical supply

Stored - ON, (in base, not in the ambulance) at the default 36.0C

As for testing I'll have to ask our Med Physics

Hope this helps - I suspect this isn't an isolated issue

At Embrace we use the Drager TI500 transport incubators.  We have had numerous 
problems with battery failures resulting in a complaint to the company and an 
MHRA investigation.
This has been completed with an unsatisfactory response from our point of view.

I am interested in who else is using this transport incubator and have you 
experienced any problems?

How do you store them ie switched on/off/what temperature?

How often do you do a battery test and how do you do it?
