I have the exact same issue. A quick soft reset of the Ultimate 64 with
the button+F5 brings it back to life, and it's fine until the next cold
boot, so fortunately it's only a minor inconvenience.
There has been some chat on this issue on the 1541 Ultimate Facebook Group,
so Gideon is aware of it I believe.
